I saw a great report on ABC 7’s Eyewitness News the other night. Finally, someone is telling it like it is.
I really liked the part where their news reporter, Ric Romero, states that only fumigation and heat treatments will totally eliminate drywood termites from a structure. It was really good to hear him tell everyone that borate treatments and orange oil were only suitable for spot treatments. Dennis Patzer from the Structural Pest Control Board also pitches in and let’s everyone know that it’s a violation of State Rules and Regulations to advertise orange oil as a whole house treatment.
