Hotel Evacuated After Women Set Off A Bug Bomb!

A bug bomb was set off in a hotel room causing a partial evacuation of the hotel, and two people being sent to the hospital.

Firefighters received a call when the fire alarms went off in the hotel. Smoke could be seen coming out of room 409. Fire officials later confirmed that the smoke was caused by a bug bomb that had been set off in the room.

Firefighters evacuated everyone from the fourth floor of the hotel. The two women, who set off the bug bomb, were treated in a fire department ambulance for symptoms of smoke inhalation. It was apparent that they had inhaled the chemical fumes and were suffering from exposure. They were later transported to a hospital for treatment.

This particular hotel had sealed windows that could not be opened. Since the chemicals used in bug bombs are not safe for humans to breathe, firefighters had to install special exhaust fans inside of the hotel. The fans were set up to direct the fumes down the stairwell, and out of the building.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you’re ever in a hotel and have a problem with insect pests, how about calling the front desk and asking for room service? Please, don’t ever set off a bug bomb in a hotel!

I am not a fan of using bug bombs. Research has shown they are not very effective and that they can be dangerous. Once they have been set off, every surface in the entire room will have chemical residue on it. The contents of these bug bombs are also highly flammable. If you still insist on using one of these devices, you’ll need to carefully follow the manufacturer’s instructions, and please don’t stay in the room and inhale this stuff – it can make you very sick!
