This “Yelping” is way overdue, as Termite Terry fumigated my house back in November. So, I bought a house and was in escrow. I was buying the house “as is” and although the seller’s had a termite inspection report from “xxx Termite”, when the regular home inspector went through, he found way more damage than “xxx termite”. So, I went and started calling around and saw good reviews on Yelp for Termite Terry. THANK GOODNESS the reviews were right. In the last week of escrow, the whole deal almost fell apart because, although a regular sale, the ex-husband was refusing to move out of the house. I already had given notice at my apartment and it was right before Thanksgiving to boot. When I called Termite Terry, I actually started the phone conversation with Ryan saying, “I have this impossible request, but is there any way …” I needed them to start fumigation on Monday before Thanksgiving, have the tent off the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and oh I can’t for sure have you do the work until escrow closes, which is supposed to be this Thursday (one week before Thanksgiving). Well, escrow closed at noon on Friday before Thanksgiving, and there was only half a day until the weekend. With only 24 hours notice from me, Ryan managed to get the gas company to shut off the gas and get the house tented early Monday, and had the tent down by noon on Wednesday. I started moving in on Thanksgiving without a hitch. And thank goodness I had the whole house tented instead of spot treatment like “xxx Termite” suggested – unknown to anyone, the house had cockroaches too and I found dead bodies all over once the house was opened up again. Eeeww!! Well, if they were dead, then it must have been a job done right. Thank you Termite Terry and Ryan for a “mission impossible” job done professionally and very well. I can’t thank you enough.
